I'm Clinton Woods, and I'm running for Jefferson County Commission because every neighborhood deserves leadership that shows up, listens, and gets results.

As your Birmingham City Councilor, I've fought to improve public safety, fix our roads, and ensure families have opportunities to thrive. I've secured funding for infrastructure projects in underserved communities, championed community policing initiatives, and worked tirelessly to make government more responsive to the people it serves.

Now I'm ready to bring that same commitment and proven track record to the entire county. Jefferson County deserves a commissioner who will prioritize your needs, manage your tax dollars wisely, and be accessible when you need them.

A commissioner should be available to all residents. I'll hold monthly office hours in the community, host quarterly town halls, and return your calls within 24 hours.

Our families deserve to feel safe. I'll fully fund our sheriff's department, support first responders, and fight for improved rapid emergency response times throughout the county.

We need good-paying jobs in our county. I'll work with local businesses, attract new industries, and create opportunities for all residents to succeed.

Economic Development

I'll work collaboratively with city, county, and state leaders, ensure transparency, accountability, and smart use of taxpayer dollars. I'll focus on results, not politics
